Kilkenny gardaí issue message following incident on the Ring Road

Members of An Garda Síochana in Kilkenny were approached at a checkpoint last week by a van driver whose vehicle had stones dropped on it from a bridge over the Ring Road.

According to the driver, ‘young kids’ were responsible.

“He didn't make a report at the time but thought maybe parents in the area might check in with their charges,” An Garda Síochana posted on their social media.

“Look kids will be kids, but if this continues, serious injury or at least a collision might occur.”
