Kilkenny gardaí reveal 'startling statistic' after seizing car in Kilkenny
Gardaí in Kilkenny add that they are 'trying to avoid knocking on doors delivering bad news'
Gardaí in Kilkenny seized a Nissan Note from an unaccompanied learner driver earlier today (Saturday, January 4).
Following the seizure, they took to social media to share the following: "More than 80% of learner drivers involved in fatal crashes since 2016 were driving unaccompanied. A startling statistic."
