Kilkenny Nativity wins leading prize previously won by Morgan Freeman and Oprah Winfrey!

It's a remarkable achievement for the local production
The Kilkenny Nativity has won a Wilbur Award, the USA’s leading media prize.
A host of Kilkenny people lended their voices to the cherished 2,000-year-old nativity story, the story of Christmas with well known local faces such as Brian Cody, Michelle Teehan and Myles 'Elvis' Kavanagh featuring in a special RTE production.
"It’s amazing to see the project recognised on this level, especially alongside past winners like Morgan Freeman, Oprah Winfrey, ABC's 20/20, Vanity Fair, and The New York Times," a spokesperson for the Medieval Mile Museum posted to social media.
