Highlights of the year’s activities included the teacher training course, Slievenamon Day now scheduled annually for July, Story Telling night, Table Quiz’s, Car Treasure Hunt, heritage week events, guided tours and Transition Year student visits. Also the production of a new promotional brochure and preliminary work on a 3D model of the Slatequarries and the hosting of the winter Solstice day events.
