Listen to the latest episode of the Kilkenny People Sport Podcast
Listen to our post-match special of the Kilkenny People Sport Podcast as we reflect on wins for the Kilkenny senior and minor teams in the Leinster Hurling Championships against Galway and Wexford respectively.
The seniors kicked off the Leinster Championship with a resounding victory over a very disappointing Galway team.
An opening half Adrian Mullen goal as well as second half efforts from Eoin Cody and Mossy Keoghan did the job for Derek Lyng's team as the hosts claimed a first ever round-robin victory over their opponents on a scoreline of 3-24 to 0-21.
The minors also had reason to celebrate this weekend, as they produced a highly polished attacking display as they blew away the challenge of near neighbours Wexford in the opening round of the Electric Ireland Leinster Minor Hurling Championship by 1-31 to 0-12.
LISTEN - We caught up with; Derek Lyng, Micheal Donoghue, Andy Comerford, Cyril Farell and Donie Mackessy after Saturday's senior clash in UPMC Nowlan Park. Meanwhile, we also hear from minor boss, Niall Bergin and details of O'Loughlin Gaels' upcoming fundraiser, 'Pedal to the Sea'.
