HerOutdoors is a national campaign designed to get more women and girls to partake in physical activity in the outdoors and two programmes are running out in Castlecomer for this year’s event.
One is for teenagers where in Castlecomer Discovery Park they will get to try everything the Discovery Park will have to offer.
This programme is run over four evenings, with the whole programme only costing €20.
The Discovery Park will also host a mountain biking programme for adult women. Over four weeks the participants will get to learn the skills of mountain biking. All equipment will be provided, including bikes.
