Pictures: MINT MediSpa unveils new BTL Suite at Pembroke Kilkenny

Local and national guests gathered in Kilkenny’s Pembroke Hotel last week to celebrate a major new investment in advanced aesthetics and wellness.

MINT MediSpa welcomed guests to the official launch of its new BTL Suite at Pembroke Kilkenny, marking an exciting new chapter for the business as it expands its offering across advanced aesthetics, skin health, body confidence, pelvic health and overall wellbeing.

Hosted by proprietor of the Pembroke Kilkenny John Ryan and General Manager Paul Broderick, the evening brought together creators, media and familiar faces from Kilkenny and surrounding counties. Guests included Folkster’s Blánaid Hennessy, beauty content creator Bláthnaid Prenter, interiors creators Christine Brett and Triona McKee, and TikTok personality Megan May. They were joined by Waterford content creator Julie Ann Murphy and Tipperary-based fashion designer and teacher Heidi Higgins.

A number of leading national profiles also travelled to Kilkenny for the launch, including RTÉ racing-style presenter and fashion expert Marietta Doran; pharmacist and skincare, wellbeing and supplements creator Ashley Duane; and solicitor, human-rights advocate, former Miss Universe Ireland and Dancing with the Stars alumna Aishah Akorede.

MC'd by BTL’s Sharon Brady, a short panel discussion explored the transformation of MINT and the investment being made in its technology, team, expertise and overall client experience. The panel featured John Ryan, proprietor of Pembroke Kilkenny; MINT Manager Diane; MINT Assistant Manager and Senior Consultant Louise; and Michelle Gleeson, National Sales Manager at BTL Medical Ireland.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the transformation and his decision to partner with BTL, John Ryan said: “We explored technology and providers across the UK, France and further afield, but BTL stood out because of the strength of its support here in Ireland. EMFACE, which combines muscle stimulation and radiofrequency to lift, tone and rejuvenate the face without needles or downtime.

EXION, an advanced platform offering tailored treatments for skin tightening, firming and rejuvenation across the face and body.

EMSCULPT NEO, which combines muscle stimulation with radiofrequency to build and strengthen muscle while supporting fat reduction and body contouring.

EMSELLA, a fully non-invasive treatment designed to strengthen the pelvic-floor muscles and support improved bladder control.

LYMPHASTIM, a compression-therapy treatment supporting lymphatic drainage, circulation, recovery and the reduction of fluid retention.

Guests had the opportunity to meet the MINT and BTL teams, receive personalised expert advice, watch live demonstrations and experience a selection of complimentary taster treatments.

The evening also featured canapés and sweet treats prepared by Executive Chef Ken Harker and the Statham’s team, accompanied by Prosecco, Nosecco and a specially selected range of mocktails. Statham’s was recently named Ireland’s Best Hotel Restaurant at the YesChef Awards 2026.

Following the launch, a hosted dinner took place at Pembroke Kilkenny for a group of invited guests. Those staying overnight returned to MINT the following morning for personalised treatment consultations and the opportunity to experience the new technology in greater depth. The launch represents the beginning of an exciting new era for MINT, bringing an expanded range of advanced aesthetics and wellness treatments to the heart of Kilkenny City.
