Much anticipated cafe just under a week away from opening date!
The Community Shop and Café opens in Muckalee on Wednesday, May 29
There is little over a week to go before the Community Shop and Café opens in Muckalee. The big day is Wednesday, May 29. The café and shop will be open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am to 4pm and half days on Saturday.
This project would not have been possible without all the funding received. Thanks went to Kilkenny LEADER Partnership CEO Declan Rice, Martin Rafter, Angela Campion and Conor Cleere for their support. Thanks also went to Kilkenny County Council’s Catherine Byrne Murphy, Katherine Peacock and Cora Nolan for their updates and support over the past few years, to Tara Hunt (HSE) and Barry Symes (Community Finance).
The café and shop will be a fantastic, state of the art community facility, village hub with remote working hot desks with free wifi.
More volunteers are needed to help at the shop. Anyone available for a few hours is more than welcome.
