'No excuse' - Kilkenny dumpers warned of serious repercussions

Kilkenny County Council has warned the public that there are legal, affordable and convenient alternatives to dumping waste illegally.
"Facilities such as Dunmore (R95 HD50) and Granny (X91 FF29) Civic Amenity Sites accept a wide range of waste, including bulky items, electrical goods and recyclables," a council spokesperson said.
"Illegal dumping damages our environment and communities, and enforcement action will continue.
"Know your options. Dumping is not one of them," they added, stating, "no excuse for illegal dumping in County Kilkenny."
