“I am delighted to congratulate the CBC Kilkenny Leaving Certificate 2026 class on their excellent Leaving Certificate results,” School Principal Tom Clarke said in a statement to Kilkenny Live.
“Their achievements are a wonderful reflection of the hard work, determination and resilience they have shown throughout their time with us.”
This year marks a particularly special year for the school community, as they are first class group to graduate from the state of the art new Dunningstown Road campus.
“They have truly made history, becoming the first cohort to complete their secondary education in a building designed to support ambition, learning and opportunity,” a school spokesperson added.
“These outstanding results are a testament not only to the students themselves, but also to the dedication of our teachers and staff, and to the encouragement provided by families and the wider school community. I am proud of every student.
“Today is a time to celebrate their achievements and to look forward to the exciting futures that lie ahead. Whether they are progressing to further education, training, employment or other opportunities, I have every confidence that our LC2026 graduates will continue to make us proud,” they continued.
