UPDATE: Man (30s) dies following fatal Kilkenny City crash

A man in his 30s has died following a fatal crash involving a car and a cyclist on the L100 Tullaroan Road at Loughmacask in Kilkenny City.
The collision took place at approximately 5.30pm on Wednesday, June 24. A male cyclist was conveyed to St Luke’s General Hospital and subsequently to Beaumont Hospital for treatment of serious injuries but was pronounced dead on Saturday evening.
A technical examination of the scene was conducted and a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.
Road users who were travelling on the L100 Tullaroan Road between 5pm and 6pm on the evening and who may have camera footage (including dash-cam), are asked to make this footage available to gardaí.
