St Lachtain's will now play Castletown Mellows in Carlow

Storm Darragh has had an impact on the local GAA schedule with tomorrow's AIB Leinster Junior Club Hurling Final between St Lachtain's and Castletown-Liam Mellows now moving to SETU Carlow where there is a 1.30pm throw-in.

The south-east college venue replaces UPMC Nowlan Park after the storm did significant damage to the goalpost at the city end of Kilkenny HQ.

It's a bit of a blow for Freshford as it now means that they lose home advantage for the provincial decider as they look to become the 14th club from the county to taste Leinster success at this grade.

The Kilkenny junior winners have been hugely impressive in seeing off Drumcullen (Offaly), Crumlin (Dublin) and Avondale (Wicklow) but they can expect a stiffer test against their Wexford opponents.

Castletown- Liam Mellows have had a busy few weeks themselves as the saw off Moorefield (Kildare), Wolfe Tones (Longford) and St Fechin's (Louth) with their semi-final win last week coming in remarkable circumstances as they won despite having two players sent off.

Add in winning a Wexford Senior Football Championship and it's already been a successful year to date ahead of this final on Sunday.

If the weather plays game, it should be a fascinating contest.
