'You always fear the worst' - Injury update as Kilkenny turn attention to All-Ireland Semi-Final

Kilkenny will play Galway in the Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Semi-Finals
Kilkenny Player of the Match, Laura Murphy has confirmed her knee injury sustained in the county’s Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Quarter-Final win over Waterford isn’t ‘too serious’.
Kilkenny, who required extra-time to bear their South-East neighbours, will play Galway in the semi-finals.
The draw was held after Tipperary’s quarter-final defeat of Clare, with Galway and Cork already in the semi-finals after securing the top two places in Group A.
“I suppose I just jumped up and landed awkwardly on the knee and I suppose maybe for 30 seconds, I wasn't sure myself,” Murphy told Kilkenny People Sport.
“Thankfully, the lads just strapped it up and it was grand after a few minutes and felt good again,” she added.
“I suppose anything with the knee, you always fear the worst but yeah, just happy that it was not too serious.”
The Kilkenny midfielder scored the clinching point and is grateful to be looking forward to a semi-final.
“It was great to finally to just put it to bed and you know, we've another three weeks of training to look forward to, which is what it's all about,” Murphy explained, adding, “I suppose, for us to compete there is just so important, for Kilkenny Camogie, and it feels right to be back there.”
