Motorists in County Waterford have been warned to expect delays as roadworks get underway this Monday morning.
The works are taking place on the N25 between Cushcam and Knocknagranagh on the outskirts of Dungarvan.
Temporary traffic lights are in place to facilitate safety barrier installation works along the route.
Waterford City and County Council has advised motorists to expect delays and use alternative routes where possible.
Motorists who are using the route are asked to slow down on the approach to the works and proceed with caution.
Elsewhere, roadworks will also be taking place on the N25 approach to Kilmacthomas from May 19 to 22.
Temporary traffic management will be in operation at Ross, east of Carroll's Cross, to facilitate essential safety barrier repair works.
Motorists are again advised to slow down and proceed with caution.
