Goalkeeper Matthew Connor rejoins Waterford FC

Former Blues goalkeeper Matthew Connor has rejoined the club having spent last season with Galway United.
The Waterford native first joined the club in 2014 before having spells with Wexford, Cork City and two spells with the Tribesmen.
Connor told Waterford's club website: "I am delighted to be back in Waterford again. I didn’t want to leave my hometown club in the past so I can’t wait to get back to work and to meet up with the group again.
"Obviously, I was here in 2017 when we won the league and it is one of my best memories in football and something I want to achieve again this season. The club looks to be really pushing on with Danny and the new owners, so to have the opportunity to come back and be part of it is something I am excited about.
"The last few seasons have thrown a lot of setbacks my way, but I can’t wait to get the gloves back on and ultimately get back on the pitch and help the club to get back to where we belong."
