‘Great work’ - ‘Lovely new planters’ installed in busy part of Waterford city

A local councillor has welcomed the installation of “lovely new planters” in a busy part of Waterford city.

Independent councillor David Daniels took to social media following their installation on the Mall.

Cllr Daniels posted: “Lovely new planters in front of the Menapia Building with seating attached completed by our Council Parks team.

“Should provide a show of colour over the season. Thanks to this team for all their great work.”

The surrounding area of the Menapia Building receives a large footfall of tourists, given that it contains the entrance to the House of Waterford Crystal showrooms.

Waterford City and County Council also has a number of offices in the building.
