Planning permission is being sought for a new dog day care area in County Waterford.
A planning application has been submitted in relation to the development which is planned for Flo’s Cottage, Monatrim Upper, Lismore.
Permission is sought for the use of the land to the rear of the dwelling as a dog day care area.
The 1470 square-metres of land would be used from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 4pm.
It would contain a part gravel and part artificial grass surface finish.
There are also plans for a 1.8 metre-high timber post and wire mesh fencing to surround the dog day care area.
The planning application was submitted to Waterford City and County Council on November 1. It is currently at the pre-validation stage.
