The development is planned for Aglish in West Waterford
Plans have been revealed for the construction of 17 new houses in a rural village in County Waterford.
Planning permission is being sought for the development at an address of Church Field, Aglish.
The development would see the construction of 17 new houses, including 15 two-storey three-bedroom houses and two two-storey two-bedroom houses.
Works would also be undertaken on connections to the public drainage system and the public mains water supply.
As well as that, there are plans for public lighting and the construction of a new entrance onto the public road.
A number of associated site works would also be carried out.
The planning application in relation to the development was submitted by DFL Construction on August 6.
A decision by Waterford City and County Council is expected by September 30.
