Plans have been revealed for a new “equestrian arena” on the outskirts of Waterford city.
A planning application has been submitted in relation to the plans for Knockeen in Butlerstown.
The proposed development consists of an equestrian sand arena with an area of 2200 square metres.
This arena would be surrounded by a timber post and rail perimeter fence.
An unbound stone access ramp and a surface water soak pit are also planned.
Furthermore, a number of associated site works would be carried out.
The planning application was submitted by Richard Barron yesterday and is currently at the pre-validation stage.
