The weather will continue in a similar pattern into Tuesday on what will be a mostly cloudy day.

It will remain warm, with temperatures expected to reach as high as 19ºC.

Wednesday will start off in similar fashion, with widespread cloud cover in the morning.

However, this will clear to make way for some bright and sunny spells in the afternoon and early evening.

It will be slightly cooler though, with stronger winds and highest temperatures of 17ºC.

The pleasant weather could come to an end on Thursday, with Met Éireann currently forecasting light showers throughout the day.

Friday will likely be similar, with light showers and temperatures remaining relatively mild.

Overall, a pleasant start to the week with plenty of sunshine before a cloudy number of days towards the end of the week.
