Aaron Blair scored a hat-trick as Eastleigh overcame Boston 4-2 in a thrilling contest in the Enterprise National League.

Blair twice gave the Spitfires the lead in the first half only for his efforts to be cancelled out by a Lenell John-Lewis penalty and a Jake Rooney strike.

Dion Rankine’s volley restored Eastleigh’s lead on the hour after Ollie Bostock had been denied at the other end by Nick Townsend.

Ken Aboh did put the ball in the net as Boston finished strongly but it was ruled out for handball and Blair wrapped up the contest in added time.
