Leanne McCarron, from Burt, who was winner of the Young People Verse 12-14 at the Derry Feis. Leanne, who is a student at Lynch School of Speech and Drama, also won the Public Speaking 10-14, and Original Poetry 10-14. She also received the Meriel Grant Shield and bursary for most promising competitor in speech and drama.
