Lincoln Courts Senior Summer Scheme provided a wide range of summer activities for over 60 young people aged between 13 - 17 years from throughout the Waterside area of Derry/Londonderry from August 4 - 23. The project provided workshops and diversionary trips and activities.
Activities / Trips included: Paintballing at Escaramouche Park; Ice Skating at Dundonald Ice Bowl; Watersports at Lake Kilrea; Surfing at Inishowen Surfing School; Overnight Residential at Todds Leap Activity Centre; Coasteering at Causeway Coasterring; Go Karting at Raceview Ballymena; Prison Island & Lagan Valley Leisure Plex; Bowling and Cinema at Brunswick Moviebowl, Pennyburn.
A spokesperson said: “We would like to extend our thanks to all the above venues for facilitating our Senior Summer Scheme. We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the following funders for making the Summer Scheme possible: T:BUC, Planned Intervention - Education Authority, Department of Foreign Affairs, PCSP and National Lottery Community Fund.”
