Dr Yousef Aljamal is visiting Derry as part of a national speaking tour

Mayor Ruairí McHugh with members of the Bloody Sunday Trust and local councillors meet and greet with Yousef Ajamal held in the Museum of Free Derry. Yousef Aljamal is an author, researcher, editor and podcaster. Born in Gaza, he received his PhD in Malaysia. He compiled and edited If I Must Die, by Refaat Alareer, co authored A Shared Struggle- Stories of Palestinian and Irish Hunger Strikers and recently published Displaced in Gaza - Stories of the Gaza Genocide. He also hosts the critically acclaimed PalCast series where every week he hosts a conversation with a Gaza-based guest who shares their experience of the genocide.
