Chris McCaw (Alliance)
This is Portrush man Chris McCaw's third election as an Alliance candidate, having stood in the 2017 Assembly and Westminster elections as well as the 2019 Westminster election.
McCaw polled ahead of the UUP and Aontú and narrowly behind Sinn Féin in the latter during the 'Alliance surge' and found himself elected to Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council in 2019.
He secured the second highest number of first preference votes in the Causeway ward, a big increase on the 113 he polled in 2014 while a member of Basil McCrae's ill-fated NI21 part.
