Maurice Bradley (DUP)
Maurice Bradley first stood for the DUP in East Derry in 2003, where he missed out on getting elected, but he returned to top the poll in 2016 with 4,630 first preference votes after stepping away in 2013.
He was re-elected in 2017, increasing his vote to 5,444 first preferences, but finishing runner-up to Caoimhe Archibald on this occasion.
A long-standing influence in the area, he was elected to Council for the first time in 1994, where he served for 19 years.
