A selection of the candidates for East Derry.
Darryl Wilson (UUP)
It has been 15 years since the Ulster Unionist Party last won a seat in East Derry, and Causeway Coast and Glens councillor Darryl Wilson is next to make a bid.
Wilson has a good grounding in local politics, having first been elected to the Council in 2014, before topping the poll at the 2019 election in the Ballymoney ward.
With the strong possibility that the DUP's George Robinson will step aside, the UUP will be hoping Wilson and the 'Union of People' approach can deliver a first seat since David McClarty in 2007.
