Gallery: Daring plungers get ‘Freezin’ for a Reason’ in Rathmullan

The Special Olympics fundraiser was back in Rathmullan for the first time in four years and drew a great crowd for the charity

A healthy crowd got ‘Freezin’ for a Reason’ in Rathmullan for the ‘coolest’ fundraising event of the year.

Donegal’s Polar Plunge will take place for the first time since the event was last held in 2019, when crowds of people including families, Special Olympic Athletes, businesses and individuals turned out to take part in this unique fundraising event, bravely plunging into icy cold waters.  


 
Special Olympics were grateful to the plungers, so that much needed funds for the organisation and its athletes can be raised.
