Donegal Railway Museum Historical Booklet Launch

Donegal Railway Museum is the setting for a presentation on Partition and the North-Western Railways, and a 36-page booklet launch entitled 'Railway Connections: Stories and Memories from the North West of Ireland.'

Railway historian Jim McBride will provide a presentation on the effect the partition of the island had on the railways that operated across then became a national boundary, including the County Donegal, Lough Swilly, and Great Northern Railways.

The planned booklet launch has been produced as part the recent Shared Island Civic Society Fund project in association with Foyle Valley Railway Museum.

Starting at 2pm, the event concludes at 3pm.
