In Pictures: The Lost River - Remember The Erne exhibition in Ballyshannon

A historical photo exhibition The Lost River - Remembering The Erne took place in Ballyshannon as part of the Allingham festival. Click on the arrows to see Thomas Gallagher's photos from the event:

Frankie McPhillips from Tempo curated the exhibition based on the works of photographer Robert French which were taken around 1880. The exhibition focused on the section of the Erne between Belleek and Ballyshannon before the hydroelectric dams were put in place.

The Erne was a famous salmon river at the time, and this is captured in the collection which drew much interest over the weekend.
