There was a fantastic turnout from the community on the day, and a few illustrious visitors stopped in for a visit - including Donegal Town Mayor Anna Gallagher.
“I come to the Donegal Town Christmas Craft Fair every year to pick up some unique, locally made gifts for Mrs Claus, who has a great fondness for the county,” Santa said. “I was happy to meet a few of the local boys and girls on the day, and I’m glad to say they’ve all been very good this year!
“I’ll be seeing some more of them soon, as I’ll be setting up shop in Donegal Railway Museum over the next two weekends for one of my favourite events of the year, the Polar Express Santa Experience.”
Donegal Railway Museum’s Polar Express Santa Experience will be held from December 12 - 14 and December 29 and 21– booking can be made on the website or by calling 074 9722655.
