The award is in recognition of Charlie’s continued contribution and tireless work with the Tidy Towns Committee in Letterkenny over the past 45 years.

Accepting the award, Charlie recognised the ‘helping hands’ throughout his tenure that helped shape what the Tidy Towns Committee has become. Charlie thanked all the volunteers throughout the years and acknowledged their steadfast contribution.

Cllr Ciaran Brogan, Mayor, congratulated Charlie and recognised the great benefit that Letterkenny Town had received in Charlie’s arrival 45 years ago.
