Daithi Roberts (Gaoth Dobhair)
Goalkeeper Roberts, before Christmas, was between the sticks as Gaoth Dobhair defeated Glenswilly 0-11 to 0-9 to retain the Donegal U-21A Football Championship, adding to a host of underage titles where he also showed himself as being a competent deadball kicker.
As he showed on Wednesday, he’s not afraid to join the outfield play and was in goal for the Donegal U-20’s in 2021, losing out eventually to Monaghan in the Ulster semi-final in Enniskillen. That same year he was a Sports Scholar at Letterkenny Institute of Technology, now ATU Donegal.
