Junior A Championship: Guide through the 11 clubs hoping to win county glory

Eleven teams will participate in the Junior A championship this season and hope to replicate what Na Rossa did last season, following their success in the county final against Moville. But who will come out on top in 2024

MOVILLE

Manager: Paul McLaughlin

Last year championship: Lost in the JFC final

This year ACFL: Finished in fifth place in Division 3

First two opponents: Urris (ha); Naomh Ultan (h)

Prospects: For the Moville men, it’ll be the aim of going one step further this season in terms of getting their hands on the Junior Championship after losing out in the final last season. They were a side who were always in the promotion/play-off conversation until the last few rounds when they ended up falling away and losing three of their last four league games. They were the second highest scorers in the league and will aim to bring that form to championship this season.

Star man: Brendan McClenaghan
