The contents of a closed down Laois hardware and antique store have gone up for auction, offering incredible and random bargains.
Lots include a replica skeleton, vintage oars, stunning antique furniture, a vintage safe, new Draper power tools, pallets of road salt, cement and peanuts, new stoves, timber, slates, Alfaparf hair products, Hoover bags, entire shop counters and sheds, and even holy pictures. Most of the lots start at €5.
It is all from Dunne's Hardware and Antiques shop in Abbyleix, due to be demolished to make way for housing. The shop was run by Liam and Fiona Dunne for 43 years.
An Ebay style online timed auction by Sean Eacrett Auctioneers in Ballybrittas, is open now and ends on Sunday, March 22. Register online to bid. Buyers must collect their purchases by March 24 from the store. Tap NEXT to view all some of the items.
