The 11th edition of Rith Beo will take place on Sunday, May 28 in the grounds of Gaelscoil Osraí.
The event was launched with sponsors in attendance at the gaelscoil on Thursday.
Rith Beo has been the main fundraiser for the school and it has been hugely successful throughout the years. As well as running the traditional 5km, 10km and 3km family fun run, this year’s event will also have additional entertainment for the children on the day including face painting and Nore Valley Farm.
Local food trucks have been invited to give the day a big family feel as well as catering for the serious runners. As is tradition, there will be a monster raffle and a huge spread of food for all in attendance, along with fresh tea and coffee.
