The long serving principal of Scoil Bhríde Paulstown Mary Holden was wished all the best by staff and students of the school as she officially retired last week.

Ms Holden has taught in the school since 1986 and been principal since 2001. She comes from a well known GAA family and is well known in camogie circles throughout Kilkenny.

Staff, students and parents paid tribute to her and wished her well on her next endeavour.
