Kilkenny and Carlow's scheduled Walsh Cup opener in Netwatch Cullen Park due to take place on Sunday has been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 9 in SETU Carlow at 8pm.
The match was postponed 30 minutes after the match was set to throw-in time due to dense fog in the Carlow venue. Officials monitored the situation until approximately 2pm when a decision was finally made and no game took place.
