A total of 275 vehicles took part in the event, which saw the cavalcade undertake a route from Kilkenny into Laois and back. The touring party left Johnstown and headed into Freshford, Ballyragget, Durrow and Cullohill before making their way back to Johnstown.
Generosity
For their efforts, the group raised more than €7,000 for their chosen charity. Organisers were delighted with the turnout and amount realised, paying tribute to all supporters and sponsors for their generosity.
“We want to thank the people who came out in their hundreds for this event,” they said, “regardless of weather and fuel prices.”
After the Run the participants celebrated a great day with refreshments at Barry’s Pub in Johnstown.
