The crowds returned to Gowran Park on Thursday for one of the best racing days out in recent memory.
There were a number of local winners, and the big event, the Thyestes Chase, was a thriller. But it was the excitement and the roar of the crowd and buzz of a packed house that really lifted everyone's spirits as January winds to a close. After taking place behind closed doors last year, there's no doubt 2022 is off to a winner.
