For something more low-key like a leisurely picnic, then Kilkenny Castle Parkland and playground offer acres of picnic areas and woodland walks for the family to enjoy.
You could also head to the beautiful town of Inistioge where you will discover Woodstock Gardens and challenge the family to some orienteering followed by a picnic on these unspoilt woodland grounds!
