"From beginning to end, the school hall shimmered with glitz, glamour, and excitement as audiences laughed, cheered, and clapped along to every moment," a teacher told the Leinster Express / Laois Live.
"The school’s incredible 5th and 6th class stars shone brightly in their leading roles, bringing this much-loved fairytale to life with modern twists, comic flair, and heartfelt performances. From Cinderella’s charm to Rockerfella’s swagger, every scene sparkled with confidence, energy, and sheer talent," they said.
Third and fourth class students 'lit up the stage' with their singing and dancing, captivating the audience and adding an extra layer of magic to the evening. "Their enthusiasm and sparkle were simply infectious!" staff praised.
"The stunning costumes, music, and lighting all came together beautifully to create an unforgettable experience. The show was produced and directed by Mrs. A. C. Reynolds, whose vision and guidance helped bring this glittering production to life," they said.
"A heartfelt thank you goes out to the teachers, helpers, and everyone behind the scenes whose hard work and creativity made this production shine so brightly.
"Judging by the roaring applause and smiling faces, one thing is certain — Cinderella & Rockerfella was a resounding hit!" the school finished.
