Carlow's very own Ballet Barn displayed a beautiful performance during the opening ceremony of this years Ploughing Championships, that was officially opened today by President Michael D Higgins.
Undeterred by the gloomy weather, the dance troupe showed poise and professionalism throughout as the rain pelted down between them.
Dressed in traditional Irish dresses and scarves, the group gave an emotional performance and are set to give another this afternoon.
