Watch: Kevin Bradley to 'carry on selling buns again' after exiting council race

The former Donegal County Council believes his votes will now be transferred to Fianna Fáil's Donal Coyle

Kevin Bradley has promised to "carry on selling buns again" now that he's been eliminated from the Donegal council race.

Bradley failed to surpass Mary T. Sweeney after calling for a second recount earlier this evening (Monday June 10), with his 1,088 votes soon to be distributed.

He believes his votes will be transferred to sitting councillor Donal Coyle.

The former Donegal County Councillor commented following his elimination and stated, "Donal Coyle, there was none of the two of us that could stop Donal Coyle. What an absolute gentleman. He deserves it, and he deserves all the recognition he gets.

"We were working with a great team the whole time. It just wasn't meant to be and that's just life.

The owner of beloved Highland Bakery, he said, "I'll just carry on selling buns again."
