Watch: RTÉ release trailor for Ballyshannon-set drama Obituary's season two

Obituary is a dark comedy crime drama in which the newspaper that Elvira works for falls into hard times and she is now being paid per obituary

Siobhán Cullen is back in series two of Obituary, which is set in Ballyshannon, in which she plays Elvira Clancy, an obituary writer who seeks relief in killing, but now finds herself beaten to the act by a new murderer in town.

Obituary is a dark comedy crime drama in which the newspaper that Elvira works for falls into hard times and she is now being paid per obituary. When deaths trickle to a halt and work dries up, Elvira soon discovers that by murdering the unpleasant residents in her small town, she will not only earn more money but also discover that she has an untapped bloodlust. The first episode of series two is on RTÉ on Tuesday, October 14.
