Watch: Donegal woman catches one of Ireland's biggest fish - a 760lb Bluefin Tuna

Killybegs native Aoife McGettigan was home visiting from Australia when she made the largest catch ever made on the Fiona Tee

Aoife McGettigan from Killybegs caught a 760lb (55 stone) Bluefin Tuna while out fishing, measuring 8ft 8in.

She was home visiting from Australia when she made the largest catch ever made on the Fiona Tee on Killybegs Fishing Tours. 

“A Day to remember for us, we have just gone and broken the record here on the Fiona tee, we have caught the biggest Tuna ever on our boat, a butterball at 760lb, and to make it extra special, it was my baby sister who's home from Australia that caught it,” Killybegs Fishing Trips posted.  “So great to have Aoife out today, and making memories”.
