A COUNTY Limerick supermarket is responsible for the latest millionaire.
Ryan’s Supervalu on Sarsfield Street, Kilmallock sold the winning €1m prize, marking the sixth Daily Million win this year so far.
"Very exciting, we got a call on Monday morning from the Lottery headquarters saying that we had the winner of the top prize of the Daily Million, Friday night, 9 o'clock draw," Roisin Howard of Supervalu said.
The winning ticket was purchased on Friday from the towns main supermarket with Roisin adding: "we were all guessing and wondering who it could be and hopefully it's someone local".
This isn't the first cash prize to have been sold in store with someone winning €5,000 on a scratch card a few months ago.
