WATCH: All aboard for Croker as eager Limerick fans head to All-Ireland showdown

UNWAVERING Limerick fans from across the city and county rose at the crack of dawn this Sunday to catch the early morning train to Dublin ahead of the highly anticipated All-Ireland final.

Excitement has been building in the Treaty ever since Kiely's men advanced to the mammoth hurling showdown.

Now clad in their county colours, supporters are finally making the long journey to Croke Park.

From politicians to Limerick Live superstars, a sea of green flooded the 8:25am train to Heuston with hopes of returning with prized silverware.

While Kilkenny may pose a challenge, Limerick fans reiterated their hope that the team's determination, skill, and hunger for victory will be enough to overcome the Cats!
