TEARS of joy and screams of exhilaration. Limerick, the heart of the hurling world at the moment have equalled Kilkenny and Cork’s four hurling All-Ireland’s in-a-row record.
Croke Park was electric and the support for the boys in green never even wavered as the Limerick team hit a second gear in the second half of this year’s All-Ireland final.
“We’re a second half team, we blew them away in the second half. Let’s drive for five!” James Madden from Rebougue said following the game.
Not even the rain dampened Limerick spirits prior to the All-Ireland final as fans were awake bright and early for a long journey to GAA headquarters in Dublin.
