WATCH | Longford's Oniesa Owens wins Bollinger Best Dressed on Day 2 of Punchestown

Oniesa's outfit 'embodied the timeless taste and style synonymous with Bollinger and Punchestown'

As the temperatures soared on Wednesday, so did the crowds at Punchestown with over 23,285 people attending Day 2 of the festival.

The Bollinger Best Dressed competition also heated up on Day 2 as a number of fabulous racegoers wowed the judges.

Ultimately, it was Oniesa Owens from Longford who won the Best Dressed competition of the day.

A finalist from last year, the Longford mother wore a Roisin Linanne black trousers from a suit she bought a few years ago teamed with a Rotate jacket from Longford Boutique Fabiani. Her hat was by Wendy Louise and her bag and shoes were Chanel and Malone Soulier. 

Oniesa commented: "Having been a finalist last year, the pressure was on to see if I could go one better and actually win, I’m over the moon!"

Style MC Marietta Doran commented the winner "embodied the timeless taste and style synonymous with Bollinger and Punchestown."

Oniesa will now go on to Friday's grand final where the overall winner will be announced.
